The end of the summer crowds, but not the end of summer

August is usually the busiest month in Prague—lines on Charles Bridge, packed boats, and crowded riverbanks. In September, the situation changes. Tourists who came just for the summer vacation have gone home, school has started, and the city has caught its breath a bit. The weather, however, remains pleasant—the days are still warm, just without the summer heat and humidity.
